LEUCOTHOE FON GIR RAINBOW
Grower Notes:
Leucothoe fontanesiana 'Rainbow' is commonly referred to as Rainbow Drooping Leucothoe, Rainbow Doghobble, Drooping Leucothoe or Drooping Laurel 'Rainbow'. It is a fantastic, multi-stemmed evergreen shrub that features arching, vibrant red stems with glossy dark green, spotted leaves that emerge pink, white and copper - very showy! Small, white urn-shaped flower clusters appear in spring.
Rainbow Drooping Leucothoe is deer resistant and thrives in part shade to full shade. It enjoys rich, moist, acidic, soils. It is ideal for beds, borders, and for accent or hedge plantings.
